Plastic Bag Waste Plastic bags litter area public areas. Volunteers at the Detrash the Wabash event, on April 5, 2009, collected and disposed of the bags. Plastic waste is harmful to the environment.
Detrash the Wabash Members of the West Lafayette Go Greener Commission help with clean up of area public areas, Detrash the Wabash Fall 2008. Most of the cleanup includes plastic waste.
